Ductless Systems

Heating and cooling older homes without ductwork, isolated rooms, or buildings is easy and affordable with a ductless system.

Ductless systems operate through an indoor and outdoor unit and are controlled by a remote control or in some cases, through an app on your phone. In addition to ease of use, they provide a number of other benefits. 

• No energy loss: If you’re renovating an older home, adding a bonus room, or finishing a basement, a ductless HVAC, also called a mini split, may be the perfect solution for you. 
• No ductwork required:
  • Unlike window units, ductless heating and cooling systems require only a very small hole to be drilled into the wall, which allows them to be less vulnerable to air leakage and security problems. Even better, they are energy-efficient, make way less noise, blend in better with your home. Ductless systems offer highly flexible solutions. 
  
  • Traditional heating and cooling systems force cooled and heated air through ducts, whereas ductless heating and cooling systems deliver air directly into different zones. Typically, they consist of a small outdoor unit and one or more indoor units that simply need mounting capabilities and access to electricity.
• Cost-effective: Sometimes referred to as split systems, these ductless heating and air conditioning systems provide any business or homeowner with a cost-effective plan to recover any poorly working air conditioning units or heaters. They can be installed in home additions, new construction, condominiums and apartments, making any room more comfortable.
